This function returns a //text// value regardless of what the character appears to be.  See examples below.

  char(65) //Returns 'A'

  char(97) //Returns 'a'

  char(32) //Returns the space character

  char(34) //Returns "  (Double quote)

  char(39) //Returns '  (Single quote)

  char(50) //Returns '2'  (2 is returned as a text string, not a number value)
