Description
This action plays a system sound or .wav audio file.
Use cases
To alert the user when a situation has occurred, like the completion of a workflow run or an error.
Action settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Sound | Select the system sound type or .wav audio file to play. Options: System (select the system sound type from the list: Beep, Asterisk, Exclamation, Hand, or Question), or, File* (browse to and select a .wav audio file). |
* Setting can be specified using a parameter.
Remarks
The System sound that plays for each setting is defined within the Sound Control Panel in Windows (Search: "Change system sounds").
