UPDATE/DELETE RECORDS IN SERVICENOW

Description

This action updates or deletes records in a ServiceNow table.


Action settings

Setting Description
Connector*Select a configured ServiceNow connector, or build one by selecting Add connector.
Table1Enter, or use the "Pick table" button to browse through and select, the ServiceNow table to update or delete records in.
CommandSelect whether records are updated or deleted within the ServiceNow table. Options: Update records or Delete records.
ServiceNow record IDsSelect the column in the current dataset that contains the IDs of the records to be updated/deleted.

Update records settings

Setting Description
Result handlingChoose how EasyMorph will handle instances when rows fail to be updated. Options: Fail the action if a row fails to export (the workflow stops and an action error is displayed), Return a list of rows that failed to export (the workflow continues, but the current dataset is a list of rows that could not be updated), or Return only successful rows (the current dataset becomes a list of the rows that were successfully updated).
Field names in ServiceNowSelect whether the current EasyMorph dataset's column names align with the ServiceNow field names (Same as EasyMorph option), or whether the current dataset's columns need to be mapped to the ServiceNow fields (Other, and map EasyMorph columns to ServiceNow fields).


Delete records settings

Setting Description
Error handlingChoose how EasyMorph will handle instances when rows fail to be deleted. Options: Fail if a row can't be deleted (the workflow stops and an action error is displayed), Warn if a row can't be deleted (the workflow continues, but a column is appended to the dataset table which holds warning messages for any rows that couldn't be deleted), or Return rows that failed to be deleted (the workflow continues, but the current dataset is a list of rows that could not be deleted).
