GMAIL CONNECTOR


Description

Specifies the parameters required to connect to a Google mail ("Gmail") account.

Name: Provide a name for the Gmail connector.
Note: Provide any notes regarding the connector (optional).
Documentation… Will allow you to enter a URL and Label for connector information. (optional)


Connection tab

SettingDescription
Email (account)Enter the email address of the Gmail account. Example: username@example.com.
AuthenticationSelect the authentication type to use. Options: OAuth2 or Basic.
Advanced Oauth settingsWhen "OAuth2" authentication is selected, select whether to use a custom OAuth app and enter the Client ID and Secret for the app.
Full access to the account's mailboxesThis setting is enabled by default and cannot be unchecked.

Once the appropriate settings have been entered, click the Authorize button. A Google account dialog will appear to select the specific account the connector will be accessing. Click "Continue" on the subsequent dialog to obtain authorization from Google. Your account information is NOT stored in EasyMorph.

Note: Once the connection is established, the Authorize button converts to a Cancel authorization button to revoke access permissions. When this is done, the connector must be reauthorized or recreated to provide access again.


Options tab

SettingDescription
Sender's emailBy default, is option is set to use the email account entered on the "Connection" tab. If a different account is to be
used for sending emails, select the "Other" option and enter the sending email address. Options: The same as account
or Other (and enter alternate Gmail address).

Once all values are populated, click the Test button to confirm the connection is functioning.
