SALESFORCE CONNECTOR


Description

Specifies the parameters required to connect to a Salesforce account.

Name: Provide a name for the Salesforce connector.
Note: Provide any notes regarding the connector (optional).
Documentation… Will allow you to enter a URL and Label for connector information. (optional)


Connection tab

SettingDescription
EnvironmentSelect the Salesforce environment to connect to. Options: Production or Sandbox.

Once the appropriate Environment is selected, click the Authorize button. A Salesforce webpage will appear to log into the specific Environment selected. Click "Log In" to grant EasyMorph permission to make the connection.

Note: Once the connection is established:

  • The Authorize button converts to a Cancel authorization button to revoke access permissions. When this is done, the connector must be reauthorized or recreated to provide access again.
  • The "Client ID" and "Secret" settings in Advanced Settings will be auto-populated.
  • The Quota usage… button becomes available.


Advanced settings

SettingDescription
Use custom OAuth appCheck this option if a custom OAuth app is being used.
App UID Enter the App UID of your OAuth client configured in the target web service.
Secret Enter the Secret of your OAuth client here.


Quota usage

This button opens a window displaying the "API daily calls quotas" and "Bulk export daily quotas" total and remaining values.



Once the connector is authorized, click the Test button to confirm the connection is functioning.
