JIRA COMMAND

Description
This action performs commands on project issues within a Jira account.
Action settings
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Connector* | Select a configured Jira connector. See Jira connector for details. |
Command | Choose which Jira command to perform. Options: Create issue, Change issue status, or Delete issue. |

Create issue settings
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Project key* | Enter or select the parent Project of the issues to create an issue within. |
Summary* | Enter the summary (or "title") for the issue being created. |
Issue type* | Enter or select the type of issue being created. |
Description* | Enter a description for the new issue. Use the "Edit…" button to open the Parameterized text editor to incorporate parameters, file or folder paths, etc. within the description. |

Change issue status settings
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Issue Key or ID* | Enter or pass in (see "Remarks", below) the Key or ID of the issue being changed. |
New status* | Enter or select the new status to be applied to the issue. Select whether a Key or an ID is being referenced using the down arrow at the left of the field. |

Delete issue settings
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Issue Key or ID* | Enter or pass in (see "Remarks", below) the Key or ID of the issue being deleted. |
Delete Subtasks | Check this option to remove all subtasks under the specified issue. |
* Setting can be specified using a parameter.
Remarks
You can "pass in" a specific issue to take action on by using the Import from Jira action to generate a list of issues and filtering it, or as a parameter value.
