Description
This action sends an email to one or multiple recipients. Optionally, it can be configured to attach a file,
or insert an HTML table.
Use cases
Automate the sending of processed results to the recipient automatically as an attached file or embedded HTML table.
Action settings
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Connector* | Select or create a connector to an email service such as MS Exchange or Gmail to send email through. |
Send to* | Enter the email recipient(s). In the case of multiple recipients separate their email addresses with commas. |
Cc* | The CC email recipient(s). In the case of multiple recipients separate their email addresses with commas. Access this option using the down arrow at the left of the "Send to" field, above. |
Bcc* | Enter the BCC email recipient(s). In the case of multiple recipients separate their email addresses with commas. Access this option using the down arrow at the left of the "Send to" field, above. |
Subject* | Enter the message subject. |
Plain text / HTML | Select the message body format. See the table below for additional options in HTML mode. |
Message* | Enter the body text of email message. Parameter names can be included using curly braces to personalize the email. |
Attach file* | Enter or browse to the fully qualified path and file to be attached. The file size must be less than 20MBytes. |

Insert input dataset | Insert the input dataset of the action as a plain HTML table. See See example. |
Footer* | Enter an additional text block at the bottom of the message body. Parameters names can be included using curly braces. |

Remarks
Note that the fields for "CC" and "BCC" recipients are hidden when empty by default. They can be enabled using the mode selector at the left of the "Send to" field.
Multiple attachments
When multiple files need to be attached, use the File command action to zip them into one file first. Then specify the path to the zip-archive in the properties of the "Send email" action
