IMPORT SPSS FILE

Description
The transformation loads .sav files created in SPSS or PSPP. Both big endian and little endian notations are supported.
There is an option to automatically replace values with value labels when they are available.
Action settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Load file* | Fully-qualified file name of the dataset (includes relative or absolute path). |
| Use value labels where possible | For data values that have labels assigned, use the labels instead of the values in the imported dataset. |
* Setting can be specified using a parameter.
Remarks
Conversion rules: Floats are converted to fixed-point decimal numbers.
This action can import multiple files. See Importing Multiple Files for more information.
Shortcuts
Fast ways to create the action:
- Press the "Add data" menu button. Pick "Import file" or "Import multiple files".
- Drag an SPSS or PSPP file into the application window. Supported file extensions: .sav
- Drag a folder with SPSS or PSPP files into the application window.
